Prompt & Proper provides on-site corporate AI training across Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio, including Toledo, Sylvania, Perrysburg, and Bowling Green. Live online training is also available. The Widening Gap & Why You Need Me
AI is changing nearly every job. But the organizations closest to the community rarely have a training department. That includes libraries, school districts, colleges, and lean nonprofits, and local employers.
When something digital needs doing, they hire a contractor. The contractor fixes one problem and leaves nothing behind. Michigan's own AI workforce plan says small and mid-sized organizations often lack the resources, staff, and technical support to adopt AI well. That puts them behind.

I'm Christy Mesaros-Winckles, Ph.D., a career educator. I spent over 15 years teaching communication in higher education. In fall 2023, I launched one of the country's first college-level AI literacy and prompt-writing courses. I also co-wrote my college's AI academic integrity policy.
Along the way, I partnered my students with community groups, including Adrian Public Schools, Visit Lenawee, local entrepreneurs, and area nonprofits. This isn't a pivot. It's the work I've always done, pointed at my own community.
I'm not trying to be big. I'm aiming to be nuanced, rooted here and useful to the people around me.

Accessible by design. I build for people who are often left out, including neurodivergent learners. I'm Quality Matters trained, and I handle accessibility standards (WCAG) and document accessibility myself.
